A spacious Garden in Holland Park expands increases its useability with a purpose built Garden Room

IQ Glass have seen a growing trend in the residential market for high end Garden Rooms.

Be it for a garden office, music studio, Gym, art studio, an entertaining space or simply a relaxing, stress free space surrounded by nature.

Their size and purpose may vary but Garden Rooms can add valuable digits onto your house price and increase your living space with a lovely standalone living space.

Obviously the whole point of these additions is to be able to view your garden and surroundings with all the comfort of being inside so glass becomes a key element in their design.

IQ Glass recently finished a project in Holland Park where the owners of this large home had a beautiful landscaped garden, with large runs of grass and a modern water feature. There was just one problem: the occupiers of the flats opposite had a better view than the owners!

The solution was a purpose built Garden room sat as an island inside their water feature. IQ Glass used the Minimal Windows system to create slim line finish with maximum glass exposure using some of the biggest minimal frames available.

To add some extra swish to their contemporary design the entry door lock is automated, locking and unlocking at the push of a button from the house.
The big plus for using Minimal Windows for a Garden Room build is that when the weather does take a turn for the better, the Minimal Windows Sliding Panes can be opened, merging your sunny garden with your comfy sofa.
