Glovers Barn features in the Sunday Times

Black barn built within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Glovers Barn featured in the Sunday Times detailing how homeowners and architect, George and Kiki Stamos managed to build their dream home on the green belt.

A derelict 15th Century Grade II listed barn on the Historic England at Risk Register required vision, tenacity, time and money in order to create the 2,900 sq ft black house of their dream in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The hub, being the kitchen/ family room features a 50ft long glass facade with ultra slim framed sliding glass doors to maximise natural light and offer seamless connections to the gardens.

"What's nice about old buildings is that they have a story," George says.  "You're just adding to that story." And without spoiling the green belt.
